Excellent! Also the service was incredible. I needed the items right away but selected the wrong shipping. They sent me a separate invoice for expedited shipping and I had me cameras next day. Awesome!

Little early for anything in-depth, but...

This is my fourth dashcam. I got my first back when they were a rarity, and they came with low-capacity memory cards. Those just allowed them to operate, but I don't know anyone who settled for those cards. This N5 supports a 1TB card, and as cheap as those have gotten, it's a no-brainer. Installation requires some strategy (so don't rush it) but with a modicum of planning it's a 2 of 10 on the difficulty scale. There are little clear electrostatic pads and pouches of "adhesion promoter" included, but not a word about what they're for or how to use them. I mention those because my first mounting location was a bad choice (the rear-facing camera was blocked by the mirror) and I had to pull that clear pad off. They don't supply extras, so I wondered how that was going to work out, but it stuck the second time and has been on there for five days, so maybe they're just that robust. Had I been more careful with my installation, I wouldn't have to worry about it. The app that's available lets you use your phone to eyeball everything that's on the dashcam's screen, but better than that it allows you to access all of the controls from your phone as well, in a much more accessible way than poking the little buttons sticking out of the unit. Going into menus and sub menus using the "forward" button as the "enter" button depending upon where you are in the process makes sense to me because I've been in tech since the 80's, but I can only imagine grandma navigating it (and my wife has as much tech know-how as grandma). My dad-in-law is 82 and did his solo (and it worked (we found out the hard way when he got whacked by a chick driving like a moron)). I will say that using YouTube to get hints and tips is a must. I found out from the guys at FFB-Tech that certain memory cards didn't work well with this unit, then while I was looking at options online, saw that it's a good idea to reformat your card monthly. Helps with file degradation. VanTrue sells their own cards that are proven to work, but oddly they don't offer a 1TB, so I ended up with the only SanDisk that works with this camera: an Ultra A1, and that was only $110 for a terabyte. All that said, I have one more dashcam to install in my truck that I've put off, so now that I did this one, I'm allotivated again, and found out last night that it supported cards between 4 and 32GB. That's it? Which makes this N5 look that much better.
