The BlackVue DR970X Box-2CH Plus pairs 4K UHD front and Full HD rear recording with a separate, lock-protected "Box" recording unit — stowed in a glove compartment or under a seat — so the footage, memory card, and cable connections stay out of sight and out of reach.

• 4K UHD Front Recording with STARVIS 2 — An 8.29-megapixel Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor captures sharp 4K UHD footage with strong low-light performance.
• Full HD Rear Camera — A STARVIS CMOS sensor and HEVC (H.265) compression preserve detail while keeping file sizes efficient.
• Secure, Tamper-Resistant Box Design — The lockable Box unit (key included) protects the microSD card and cable connections. Hex-screw camera covers lock the front and rear cameras' angle and protect against cable unplugging.
• External GPS Included — Embeds speed and location data into your footage and enables live vehicle tracking via BlackVue Cloud, right out of the box.
• EB-1 Bluetooth Event Button — Trigger a manual Event recording from anywhere in the vehicle with the included wireless SOS button.
• Native Parking Mode — The included hardwiring cable powers Motion & Impact Detection and Time Lapse Parking Mode, with a built-in voltage monitor to protect your vehicle's battery. Rated for 12V–24V vehicles, including trucks and fleet vehicles.
• BlackVue Cloud Connectivity — Connect via Wi-Fi hotspot, or add the optional CM100GLTE LTE module (sold separately) for always-on cloud access, live view, and push notifications.

NOTE: LTE connectivity is not built in. BlackVue Cloud works over Wi-Fi out of the box. For cellular connectivity, the CM100GLTE External LTE Module is available separately — a data-only SIM card is required and is not included.
